Traditionally, skid control training is all about learning to solve problems - you deliberately induce losses of control so that you can learn to recover from them. That approach has a negative focus - trying to avoid what you don't want.
Our skid control skills courses are held at the famous MIRA testing grounds on their purpose built skidpan, where conditions such as snow, ice, and wet surfaces can be easily and safely replicated to enable drivers to experience vehicle behaviour in extreme road conditions. However it's much more sophisticated than "skid control" training as this course focuses on a positive orientation in creating and maintaining what you want, rather than solving problems. It's about creating a state of complete control no matter how alien the conditions.
