Driving Risk Awareness Workshop
This unique workshop examines the circumstances surrounding the most common types of road incidents and crashes. Using a discovery learning approach participants 'discover' driving behaviours and techniques that will help them avoid being involved in these common road incidents. Through the sharing of participant's own experiences and perceptions the workshop creates an environment of lively debate and questioning. This enables the group to discover for themselves the contributory factors in various crash types. A personal objective plan to reduce driving risk is completed by each participant and is a tangible outcome of the workshop.
By attending the workshop, participants gain a greater understanding of the dangers on the road and are able to adopt a driving style that significantly reduces their potential of being involved in an incident or crash.
The personal objectives plan is put to even greater effect when training is extended to include one of our 'Behind the Wheel' courses, a natural progression from this workshop.
By examining crash scenarios and discovering their causes, participants identify and are motivated to change certain key aspects of their driving to reduce driving risk.
